When you use SeamRidge, we may collect the details needed to help with your roofing request.

That can include:
- Contact details like your name, phone number, email address, and property address
- Project details like roof type, approximate size, roofing material interest, timing, and whether this is repair or replacement
- Messages you send us through forms, email, or phone
- Basic website data like device type, browser, pages visited, and general location based on IP address

We do not ask for bank account numbers, credit card numbers, Social Security numbers, or other highly sensitive financial records to use our matching service.

We use information for a few practical reasons:

1. To respond to your request. If you ask to be matched, we use your contact and project details to connect you with participating roofers in your area.
2. To run and improve the site. We look at general website activity to fix problems, understand what pages help people, and make the service easier to use.
3. To communicate with you. We may contact you about your request, your matches, or customer support questions.
4. To prevent misuse. We may use information to reduce spam, fraud, abuse, or duplicate requests.

Participating roofers pay SeamRidge a flat fee to receive matching opportunities. You do not pay SeamRidge for matching.

SeamRidge is not a roofing contractor or installer. We do not perform roofing work, inspect structures, make coverage decisions for insurers, or give legal or financial advice. We do not sell your personal information as a list for unrelated marketing. We may share your information only in limited situations that fit the service:

• With participating roofers so they can contact you about your project
• With service providers that help us operate the website, forms, analytics, communications, or customer support
• If required by law or when reasonably needed to protect our rights, users, or the public
• If the business changes ownership such as a merger, acquisition, or asset sale, subject to normal legal process

If you submit a request through get matched, please understand that the roofers who receive your information may contact you directly by phone, text, or email, subject to applicable law and your choices.

You have options.

• You can choose not to submit a form. You can read our educational pages without asking for a match.
• You can ask us to update or delete information. Contact us and we will review your request as required by law and our recordkeeping needs.
• You can limit cookies in your browser. Some site features may work less smoothly if you block certain tools.
• You can stop talking with any roofer. You are never required to hire a roofer just because you were matched.

If a roofer gives you an estimate, protect yourself. Get the metal type, gauge, coating, warranty, scope, and price in writing before any deposit. We use reasonable steps to protect the information we hold, but no website or transmission method is perfect. That means we cannot promise absolute security.

We keep information for as long as it is reasonably needed to operate the service, respond to requests, keep basic business records, enforce our terms, and meet legal obligations. We may also keep limited backup or log data for a period of time.
